A few years ago my 3 1/8" round transponder quit and I was in desperate need of a new transponder that would fit my instrument panel. Aircraft Spruce told me about the Becker remote mount 2 1/4" transponder. At the time It was the only transponder I could use without redesigning my instrument panel.

After ordering the transponder, Becker treated me like a valued customer, not only in words but in their actions. Their customer support was so good that they turned me into a supporter of the company.

A year or so after installing the Becker remote transponder I was able to install a Becker AR 4201 compact COM radio. It has 99 channels of programmable memory, and an intercom built into the radio as well as other great features.

Just before Sun 'n Fun 2002 I was given the opportunity to replace my remote transponder with the newest Becker transponder, the ATC 4401. It mounted in the same 2 1/4" instrument hole that my Becker remote transponder was in. The ATC 4401 is only 9" long. If panel space is limited Becker is your best choice for avionic equipment.
